A Ship Firefighting Training Simulator with Physics-Based Smoke

Under the current background of navigation education, students generally lack a comprehensive grasp ship firefighting equipment’s operation. Therefore, we develop novel training simulator with multi-sensory human–computer interaction function for teaching and marine students. In simulator, consider container 1.8w containers as prototype ship, entire models are built using three-dimensional modeling technology. We design various interactive modes realize full-process operation simulation several standard equipment. Furthermore, propose purely Lagrangian vortex dynamics framework to simulate smoke flame in fire scenarios. this framework, model fluids velocity vorticity fields discretized on discrete segments. The main components include stable geometric stretching solution particle strength exchange method solving diffusion term. results show that has good behavioral realism scene immersion can be applied training. To best our knowledge, is first study real-time physics-based simulator.
